Walden Enters Social Work Arena
Walden is excited to announce its entry into the dynamic field of social work with the creation of the School of Social Work and Human Services. Our new school will provide students with opportunities to advance in their careers and make a difference in the lives of others. With this new school comes our new Master of Social Work degree program, which expands our mission of promoting positive social change and builds on our reputation for providing quality distance learning to working professionals. For a limited-time, we are offering tuition reduction if you start the MSW program in September 2013. You can attend your first term at no cost, and you will also receive a 50% tuition reduction over the lifetime of the program. Learn more

The Walden Leadership Fellows Program awards $10,000 scholarships to new Walden Executive M.B.A. students who can demonstrate unique leadership qualities through their academic achievements, professional and personal accomplishments, and commitment to positive social change. Learn more
M.S. in Education specialization
Walden’s new Mathematics and Science (Grades K–8) specialization features math courses informed by the latest standards set by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics’ (NCTM) Principles and Standards for School Mathematics. Designed for elementary and middle school teachers, this specialization explores effective teaching strategies to inspire students and allow them to gain the knowledge and skills needed for successful futures.
